Halloween and Trunk or Treat

The Belmar 2026 Halloween Costume Contest and Trunk or Treat will be on Friday October 23rd. 

Location is Dempsey Park parking lot and basketball courts.  16th Ave and Railroad Ave.

Costume registration is from 5pm-5:45pm. Contest is open to Pre-K -8th Grade. Judging to begin around 5:45pm. When the judging is done, the Trunk or Treat will begin. Winners will be announced inside the basketball courts around 7pm.

Categories are: 

Funniest, Scariest, and Most Original. There is a Group category as well. A Group is 3 or more. 

Trunk or Treat to begin around 6pm. There will be DJ Entertainment, free hotdogs, and Ice Cream from Coney Waffle.

In the event of rain, only the Costume Contest will take place. Location will be the Municipal Gym located at 601 Main Street.
